Kirchhoff Hosts National Town Builders Association Roundtable

Kirchhoff welcomed developers, architects and planners from across the country as host of the National Town Builders Association’s (NTBA) recent roundtable – the first ever held in New York State. As a recognized leader and regional expert, Kirchhoff guided NTBA members through a dynamic program centered around its projects that have implemented design and planning principles of New Urbanism; walkable, mixed-use neighborhoods and communities that foster a sense of place and community.

Centered around the theme New Urbanism in the Hudson Valley, New York, the event showcased the real estate investment firm’s deep understanding of the area’s historical significance and its future potential. Roundtable highlights included expert-led discussions around topics such as planning and architecture, financial performance, marketing and entitlements, among others, at Locust Grove in Poughkeepsie. Additionally, attendees took part in walking tours of both Eastdale Village and Tradition @ Red Hook, two of Kirchhoff’s groundbreaking projects, as well as historic site tours of local landmarks including Vanderbilt Mansion and Franklin Delano Roosevelt Estate and Library, offering participants a rich blend of history, innovation and design excellence in the Hudson Valley.
