Walk or Run for Fit or Fun is a 4 week program designed to give participants at all levels of fitness the opportunity to build a support network and fitness level to learn to run or simply walk for fun. Participants will learn proper stretching and warm up techniques for walking and running in addition to building up your stamina to get fit. If you choose to be a runner, then the program goal is to have you in shape to run a 5K upon completion of the 4 week curriculum. No matter what your goal is, to walk with friends or get fit to run a 5K, then this program is for you.
The series was created by the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce Health and Wellness Committee and is led by John Nunez of Feldman Physical Therapy and Performance and Kim Caruso of Fleet Feet. So walk with us and join in the fun or get fit by learning to run!
