Record Store Day is Saturday, April 13 at Darkside Records in Poughkeepsie, New York, where we celebrate everything we love about record stores. We will of course have the exclusive RSD titles, as well as giveaways, live music, food, performers, a charity fundraiser, and more!

Coming early? Enjoy free coffee in the morning courtesy of The Poughkeepsie Grind! There will be food TBA! Get ice cream from Ben & Jerry's! We'll be serving up some delicious local beers- and Half Time Beverages will be on-site again with samples of the Dogfish Head #RSD19 brew, the fan-favorite re-released Grateful Dead 'American Beauty' pale ale (Plus they're also bringing back 'Dragons & YumYums' the 2018 collaboration with The Flaming Lips that we hope to have onsite!)

-LIVE MUSIC-
Hear great live music all day long, featuring a special intimate performance from Y La Bamba, whose new album 'Mujeres' is out now and will be performing later that night at BSP Kingston (get tix in-store at darkside)! There will also be a set from NYC prog band Valence, whose new album 'Cognitive Dissident' comes out 4/12. There will also be sets from awesome local performers A Low Glow Ire Dawn - ALGID, Arizona Lindsey, Wall Of Ego, Mike Hamel, Freedom Class, Timber Beast, and Ciarra Fragale!

Record Store Day was conceived in 2007 at a gathering of independent record store owners and employees as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1400 independently owned record stores in the US and thousands of similar stores internationally.
