A special keynote presentation will be delivered by Bill Jeffway, Executive Director of the Dutchess County Historical Society. Jeffway’s presentation, titled “Made in Dutchess,” will explore the vibrancy to Dutchess business throughout the years. From shipyards on the Poughkeepsie waterfront to violets in Hyde Park; from J.C. Penney’s Emmadine dairy farm in Hopewell Junction to hats made in Beacon; from Smith Brothers’ cough drops to Wappingers Falls Sweet-Orr jeans, Dutchess County has had a rich and prosperous business history. Jeffway will discuss that history.
As you all know, there are many people in need of our assistance. The Chamber's Ambassador committee has partnered with our Workforce Development Center to collect canned and dry goods at our Contact Breakfast. Your donations are greatly appreciated.
