Claudio's Can Drive

Description

Each year on Claudio Coppola's birthday, the Claudio Cares Foundation, supported by Coppola's Ristaurante, honors the memory of owner Luigi Coppola's son through Claudio's Can Drive. Each year they recruit young people to assist in collection, organization and distribution of non-perrishable food items in hopes of instilling the selfless qualities that made Claudio the wonderful young man he was. This year, our fourth, has seen over 110,000 lbs. of food items collected to be distributed to 8 local food pantries. Collection is still ongoing and the goal is to collect over 200,000 lbs. and increase the number of food pantries served to 15. They need everyone's help to achieve this goal. Local businesses can assist by collecting non-perishable food items, which can be dropped off at Coppola's Ristorante through December 17. For more information, visit claudiocaresfoundation.com
