Art After Dark

The Art Effect is creating a new narrative in Poughkeepsie and the Hudson Valley with young artists as the focal point. On October 24, we invite you to Create a New Narrative with us, as we bring together diverse groups of stakeholders to experience art forms in new and interesting ways. Art After Dark will feature immersive arts experiences centered around this theme, including a green screen experience and visual arts experience conceived by The Art Effect staff and youth. Proceeds from this event will provide significant support for The Art Effect’s art education and youth programming. At this year’s Art After Dark, The Art Effect will be honoring Karen & Nevill Smythe as well as Jason Bard Yarmosky. Event sponsorships are also available to present an immersive art experience at the event.
