Marjane Satrapi, best-selling author of Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood, will deliver a talk about her work as an author and illustrator on October 10 at 5:30pm in the Vassar College Chapel. Born in Iran, Satrapi grew up during the Islamic Revolution and the war with Iraq before moving to Paris in 1997. Persepolis is an autobiographical comic that tells the story of Satrapi's youth in Tehran in the 1970s and 80s and has been translated in over forty languages. This event is free and open to the public.
