Please join us for the second annual Red Sand Gala, an evening of art, education and empowerment, in Vassar College’s Ely/ Aula building, to raise awareness of human trafficking from 6- 9pm, Thursday April 4th. We will also have numerous local and Vassar organizations tabling about resources and ways to get involved in the anti-trafficking efforts at Vassar and in the Poughkeepsie Community. The mission of our Gala is to raise awareness and form solidarity against human trafficking through art, dialogue, and collaboration across Vassar's Campus and the Dutchess Community. There will be a Cash Bar for drinks (please plan to bring paper cash) and various items made by human trafficking survivors will be sold at the Gala (also cash sale). We will have one painting made in response to human trafficking as a silent auction item. Dress Code: Business casual or Semi-formal. We encourage you to wear/accessorize with something red.
