  • Seminar on integrating generations in the workplace Nov. 10

    October 25, 2016
Are you a manager, human resources professional, or business owner? Do you find it challenging to manage Millennials alongside other generations?

The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce presents Skip Weisman, professional speaker and founder of the Championship Company Blog, discussing “Managing Millennials, Generation Z, and Boomers in the 21st Century Workplace” at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel on Thursday, November 10 from 7:30-9:30 a.m. Weisman will explore the trials and tribulations of managing the younger generation in today’s work environment and integrating them with more veteran staff members to create a cohesive, collaborative, positive, productive, and profitable workplace.

Attendees will engage in interactive activities and conversations to identify the good, the bad, and the ugly of the millennial generation in the work environment and explore strategies to more effectively inspire and motivate them and other generations to contribute at the highest levels. At the end of this session, attendees will have a renewed optimism with specific strategies and techniques to apply to the future.
Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions, Rose & Kiernan, Inc., and Stenger, Roberts, Davis & Diamond sponsor this event.

Tickets are $20 for members, $30 for non-members. Light breakfast will be provided. Visit dcrcoc.org or call (845) 454-1700, ext. 1000 to RSVP.
