First and foremost, wishing all a Happy and Healthy New Year!
With the turn of the calendar we get to reset and reengage with the community. Hopefully, everyone will have the opportunity to get the most out of the region and visit your local businesses to see what the area has to offer. Relax with a fine cigar in the smoke lounge at Havana Cigar Company or enjoy a delicious, warm cookie made from scratch at the Midnight Munchie Company.
There are some events this month that should not be missed! First is the January After Hours, a great opportunity to network, at Shadows on the Hudson on January 11th. The monthly Contact Breakfast on January 18th has a keynote presentation by Dr. Minosca Alcantara, Executive Director of New York State Bridge Authority as well as a presentation from Frank Castella, Jr on the State of the Chamber. Additionally, come support your neighbors with ribbon cuttings – these, as well as many other events, can be found on the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce website.
Visit DCRCOC.org to see the broad range of resources and tools the Chamber has to offer all members. Or, better yet, attend the Master Your Membership on Tuesday, January 31st, 2023 to learn about everything the Chamber of Commerce, Chamber Foundation and Workforce Development Center can do to help your business as well as the community as a whole – registration can be done online at DCRCOC.org.
