Get Involved in our Community through Committee Volunteering

Committees are integral throughout the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber Foundation. The committees range in purpose and focus and they have the best and brightest to carry out the mission. We thank them for the time and expertise they provide – and encourage others to join them. Whether you would like to be more involved with government initiatives, nonprofit, women’s leadership, or help develop younger professionals, there is a committee for you.
    Committees include:

    • Legislative Action Committee – advocate on behalf of members through all levels of government
    • Health & Wellness Committee – provide tools to assist businesses to maintain a healthy workforce
    • Business Education Committee – plans and oversees business education seminars
    • Women’s Leadership Alliance – to empower women through advocacy, collaboration and leadership
    • Forty Under Forty Selection Committee - recognizing 40 individuals under the age of 40 who are shaping our region and making it a better place for everyone
    • Gala Committee – planning the annual black-tie dinner for members and non-members
    • Hudson Valley Young Professionals – to provide young professionals with opportunities to learn, lead, grow personally and professionally, network effectively, and give back to the community
    • Member Ambassador Committee – retain and build the Chamber’s membership, as well as add value with every business contact on behalf of the Chamber
    • Nonprofit Committee – provide resources and opportunities involved in nonprofit and community service organizations
