Attending Events Helps Support Each Other

The Chamber has a deep and rich history of assisting our regional businesses and non-profit organizations – with connectivity, resources, marketing opportunities, advocacy, and events. Our organization is robust and has a reputation for hosting a variety of events throughout our community in a given year, and this is an economic impact that penetrates into our economy. We do our best to help you connect with the community as well as with each other.

We are most known for our creative, well attended, large scale and targeted events such as our the Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival, The Hudson Valley’s Top Forty Under 40 Mover and Shaker Awards, monthly Contact Breakfasts and Business After Hours, and the Annual Gala. Whatever the event, we continue to adapt and improve these events to deliver impact and value for our members. Not only is the Chamber here for you and your business by organizing these events, but you can show your support for each other by attending and taking advantage of all that membership affords – networking, learning about important economic issues happening in the community, promoting your brand, sponsoring, and much more. 

Perhaps you’d like to attend a monthly Network, Present & Refer session, where Chamber members from all categories are able to present for two minutes to a collection of 25 members – describing their business or organization, and who a good referral source is for them. Or, if you are interested in helping to organize some of the events that the Chamber produces, you can join a committee such as the Business Education Committee, the Non-Profit Committee, or the Women’s Leadership Alliance. Involvement is the key to making the most of your Chamber membership, as well as helping each other succeed, and the community thrive.

From the Floating Business Break on October 6, to the October 20 Contact Breakfast, to the Pigskins and Pints fundraiser on November 7, and a whole host of Ribbon Cuttings.
