A general announcement to all employers and attendees:

As an employer, you must be offering a positon for hire at the Job Fair.  If you are not offering a position for hire and the intended purpose for attending the Job Fair is to promote your organization then you will be asked to leave.

If you are an attendee, your intended purpose should be to look for a position and not to solicit business from employers.  If we are informed of solicitors you will be asked to leave.

Tips for Job Seekers:

  • Dress for the job you want
Being in the right mindset starts with wearing the right clothes. Dressing appropriately could make you stand out as the professional candidate a company is looking for. Business casual attire is usually appropriate.
  • Have a resume ready
Make sure you have an edited and spell-checked resume ready so if you are asked for one by an employer, you're prepared.
  • Don't be shy
Have questions ready for employers you're interested in speaking with and show them you're interested. Having questions tailored for each employer you're interested in speaking to will show you have initiative and are forward-thinking.
