Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley in Valhalla recently appointed Tricia Robbins as Marketing and Community Relations Manager, in charge of all marketing, public relations and community outreach. Robbins, a resident of Briarcliff Manor, will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing and promotional strategies to increase awareness of this Ronald McDonald House and its mission.
As Marketing Manager, Robbins joins a talented team of professionals and will work under the direction of the Executive Director, Christina Riley, and in collaboration with the Program Operations Manager and Event Manager. In this role, she will take an active and creative approach to representing the organization while increasing community engagement, building brand awareness and enhancing business partnerships. Robbins will also be responsible for all media relations, social media and event marketing. According to Riley, this position is an integral part of the growth and development plan for the House and Robbins brings the specific skill set needed to accomplish this.

As the founder of PR2 Public Relations, Robbins spent the past ten years assisting small local businesses in creating strategic marketing plans and public relations initiatives to garner publicity. Her additional experience includes a number of high-level marketing and public relations positions, including Director of Marketing for General Growth Properties, one of the largest shopping mall developers in the nation. In that role, she created, implemented and managed public relations and marketing programs, such as a college internship program in 42 states nationwide. Prior to her experience in corporate marketing, Robbins was the Associate Director of Public Relations at the CW Post campus of Long Island University. She also spent three years as a journalist and as Editor at Anton Community Newspapers, a chain of 20 local newspapers across Long Island. Robbins is a member of the Professional Women of Westchester, the Public Relations Society of America, and the Hudson Barter Exchange.
