  • Community Invited to Special Events and Guided Tours During Great Estates Garden & Landscape Weekend

    Dutchess Tourism, Inc. (DTI) invites the public to explore the grounds of Dutchess County’s great estates during the Great Estates Garden & Landscape Weekend, August 12-13, 2023. Visitors can explore the scenic landscapes of the majestic homes along the Hudson and experience outdoor guided and self-guided tours and workshops. Events include tours of Innisfree Garden, named one of the world's ten best gardens; a Bollywood dance lesson at the Beatrix Farrand Garden at the Home of FDR National Historic Site; and access to rarely seen historic photographs and a discussion of the historic landscape and gardening technology at Locust Grove Estate.
