    Brand USA Features Poughkeepsie & Hyde Park in New Video

    WASHINGTON, DC – Brand USA recently released its newest “Ask A Local” video which features Poughkeepsie Chef Brandon Walker, owner of Essie’s Restaurant, talking about his love of the area and some of what visitors can expect when they come to Dutchess County. The Poughkeepsie/Dutchess County video can be seen here https://youtu.be/0zI1imkISrk and will live on Brand USA’s YouTube channel, VisitTheUSA.com and TheBrandUSA.com. It may also be featured on GoUSA TV, Brand USA’s new connected TV channel on Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire.
     
    As the destination marketing organization for the United States, Brand USA's mission is to increase incremental international visitation, spend, and market share to fuel the nation’s economy and enhance the image of the USA worldwide. This stand-alone “Ask A Local” campaign uses a documentary-styled approach to share amazing travel experiences through the voices and faces of U.S. residents. These first-person recommendations highlight local attractions, food, nightlife, music, and scenery throughout the 50 states, 5 territories, and the District of Columbia. Poughkeepsie joins Buffalo as the only two cities in New York State highlighted in this campaign.
