Poughkeepsie, NY - Arnoff Moving & Storage is pleased to announce the newest member to their team, Gregg Day. Day is joining the 99-year company as Vice President of Sales for their Household Goods (HHG) division, overseeing the sales team and business development of residential moving. The position was previously held by David Feldman, who was concurringly appointed Senior Vice President of Sales.
“We have big plans for growth in our HHG sector, especially in the Capital District, so we knew that we needed to recruit the right person with the right experience to ensure we continue to build on our strong foundation,” says Dan Arnoff, Chief Relationship Officer.
Day has been in the moving industry for 40 years, and like many employees at Arnoff, he began as a helper on a moving van. Gregg worked his way up through the ranks to have positions driving, in operations, and sales, spending most of his career in various sales roles with moving companies in the metro Washington DC Market. Over the years Day has worked at agents for Budd, Atlas, Graebel, Mayflower, Allied, United & Arpin Van Lines and in 2020 Gregg started his own moving company- handling all aspects of the business, from Sales to Operations to Finance- which he built up to a great success and sold before joining the Arnoff team.
Gregg will manage the HHG Sales team, as well as his own book of business, and be based in Malta, NY, as well as overseeing Arnoff’s Poughkeepsie sales operations.
