    The Interlaken has been hosting many kinds of travelers and events for over 130 years including destination weddings, corporate groups, race teams, family reunions, private school parents, craft retreats, romantic couples, etc.  As a Sales Professional, your goal is to continue to make sure the word is spread about us and maintain solid relationships with Guests that positively influence our revenue targets. 
     
    Since you are experienced in this field, all of the responsibilities you’ve had previously will most likely be a part of your responsibilities here too.  Here is a brief general list but of course we have a specific longer task list as well.  There are so many creative ways to make sales happen because, as you know, sales opportunities are truly endless!
     

    • Manages the yield of the property utilizing the property management system and leading the Guest Services front desk team
    • Input on advertising decisions for the property
    • Assists the repeat group and event Salesperson and offers guidance for targeting new group business and events
    • Secures relationships with local businesses & private schools, commonly called the “Convenience Zone”
    • Responsible for all promotions for all outlets at the property
    • Study of the marketing that brings Customers to our door
    • Complete understanding of our competition in six major markets
