We are hiring for a sales or marketing position at DenTen Insurance Services - P&C, Life &Health licenses are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
This is an Independent Insurance Producer position that builds strong positive relationships, ensures growth attainment, and increases DenTen’s reputation.

Skills:

• Preferred but NOT Required Licensed P&C Insurance Agent/Broker – NY.

• Proven working experience as an Insurance agent or relevant experience.

• Familiarity with all types of insurance plans – Commercial, Auto, Home etc…

• Computer knowledge; Zoom, software, CRMs, calendars, etc..

• Proven ability to work with goals

• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, influence and sell effectively

• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships

• High school or BS degree

Requirements:

• Live in the Hudson Valley; ability to commute to Poughkeepsie / New Paltz

• Valid drivers license

• Must enjoy helping people and educating them about their policies

• Excellent communication skills

• Knowledge of basic computer skills to fill out the application with the clients

• Good organizational skills

• Ability to work well with a team and individually as well

• Coachable, Positive

• Comfortable making phone calls, emails and in-person outreach to potential clients

• Strong sales experience

• Ability to meet and exceed assigned goals

Duties include but not limited to:

• Call potential clients to set up appointments

• Meet with the clients to fill out their application OR meet with clients via virtual appointments

• Manage your clients and follow up with their needs

• Reach out and ask for help and learn from your mentors to gain the knowledge required to help families to the best of your ability

• Submit applications on behalf of your clients via DocuSign or any other form required for the policy

• Maintain a good knowledge base of the insurance products we have access to, underwriting, and general insurance knowledge to share with your clients and assist them in choosing the best coverage for their family

• Communicate with the insurance carriers we work with to take care of the policies you write for your clients

• Maintain professionalism and integrity throughout all aspects of this position
