• Director of Finance

    We are looking for a Director of Finance (Finance Director) to oversee the financial operations of the Chamber and its affiliate, The Chamber Foundation. You will be responsible for providing day to day business and bookkeeping support, as well as be able to understand, interpret and present financial statements and budgets. This is a responsible position with room for advancement. Applicants must be reliable, professional and have experience with non-profit accounting standards, audits and as well as knowledge of business and human resource management.


    • Conduct daily financial tasks, monthly bank reconciliations, monitor and maintain internal control operations, as well as prepare for and assist with regular audits
    • Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
    • Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to management team and board of directors
    • Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines
    • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
    • Proven experience as director of finance or similar role
    • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
    • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software
    • Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
    • BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
    The Chamber of Commerce is a non profit 501(c)6 corporation, with a 29 person Board of Directors. The Chamber is a busy organization, conducting numerous monthly, quarterly, and annual events that serve businesses and the community. The Chamber collaborates with public entities to operate workforce and youth programs that serve youth, families and adults to proved academic and employment training, leading to job opportunities. The Director of Finance is a key member of the team. Attendance at events outside of regular work hours is expected.
