The Advocacy/Economic Development Committee provides programs and events to engage young professionals with the political process and to understand the effects of public policy in a non-partisan manner. They host frequent closed-door forums and lunches with elected officials as well as make sure HVYP members have the resources they need to be able to register and vote effectively. This committee is also involved in revitalization efforts throughout the area.
