Walkway Marathon Weekend is an exciting time in the Hudson Valley, as people from all over the world converge on Poughkeepsie and the Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park for this special event. The weekend kicks off at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 11th, with the THINK DIFFERENTLY Dash, a one-mile run for people with physical and developmental disabilities. The presentation of finisher awards from this race at 11:00 a.m., will help us kick-off the Health & Wellness Expo at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center, where a wide variety of vendors will be on hand to support runners coming in to pick up their race bibs for Sunday's marathon, half marathon and 5K. There will be seminars, giveaways, food, music and more, as we celebrate the comradery among all the participants at the Expo, which will run from noon to 8 p.m. The Expo is FREE and open to the general public.
