Do you work in a school or a nonprofit? What challenges are your students facing? We want to hear from you! We will discuss opioids and other challenges our youth are facing in schools today.
United Way invites you to attend RESILIENT COMMUNITIES: CHALLENGING THE OPIOID EPIDEMIC this Thursday, October 17th from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at MOUNT SAINT MARY COLLEGE, HUDSON AUDITORIUM • 330 POWELL AVE • NEWBURGH.
Keynote address: “CHANGING THE CONVERSATION: THE ROLE OF PREVENTION, TREATMENT, RECOVERY AND YOUTH, DURING A NATIONAL CRISIS” by Carlton Hall, followed by panel presentation on: “SHARED ASSETS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO OVERCOME THE EPIDEMIC.”
There will be Narcan prevention training and kit giveaways, as well as free school supplies, hygiene items and children's books.
