Nonprofit Seminar
Nonprofit consultant, coach, presenter and networker Susan J. Ragusa will present information to nonprofits on how to create a strategic, integrated funding plan—using tactics such as grants, special events, direct mailings, individual and online giving, sponsorships and others—to analyze revenue generating activities.
Ragusa will discuss how special events build support, appeal to new donors and provide critical, unrestricted funding. Each event plan should set realistic goals from concept through execution as well as outline the costs of reaching those goals and how your organization will secure the money to cover those costs. The net revenue for every moneymaking endeavor an organization engages in should be calculated and evaluated.
Understanding direct and indirect costs enables nonprofits to drive better decision making when planning future events and activities. A thoroughly planned event can enable a nonprofit to strengthen their organization’s impact. From major giving to special events and everything in between, there's always room for improvement in the operations of even the most established nonprofit.
Registration is required. Please call (845) 454-1700, ext. 1000 or visit dcrcoc.org to RSVP.
