Description
The New Horizons Foundation's Community Leadership Award honors people in the community for their spirit, dedication, and leadership in fostering a better life for all residents of the Hudson Valley. This year is the 21st annual award and the honorees are: • Maureen Kangas, General Manager, The Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel • Ellen and Rocco Staino, both retired teachers from Marlboro Central School district and long-time community volunteers • Miriam Zimet-Aaron, retired French teacher from Spackenkill High School and long-time community volunteer The award winners were chosen by a committee of winners from previous years.
