Have a brilliant idea that you want to turn into a business? Thinking about how you would like to be the boss of your own company? Or perhaps you are trying to figure out how to take your business to the next level? The nonprofit Women's Enterprise Development Center (WEDC) wants to help you make money achieving your dreams. WEDC's business training program for entrepreneurs covers key topics such as legal business structures, business management skills, understanding financial statements, cash flow and budgeting, market research, social media and traditional marketing, technology for your business, business presentation skills. The course culminates with attendees writing a business plan and presenting to a small panel of representatives from the business community. Attending the course is just the beginning of your journey. Part of our services include one on one ''free'' counseling as your business grows in order to provide resources and answers to your questions as well as additional resources to sustain the business into the future. Join WEDC for our Spring Program beginning February 2, 2016 at SUNY Orange Newburgh Campus, One Washington Center, Newburgh, NY 12550. Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 PM. This ''mini MBA course for entrepreneurs'' is primarily funded by New York State with a small $200 investment from attendees.
