The Hudson Valley Business Scene Is Here

As you may have noticed at the top of this month's newsletter, we have changed its name from The Bottom Line to Hudson Valley Business Scene to better reflect what it is you are reading. This was announced at our Breakfast and Annual Meeting in January, and now becomes official with this February edition of our monthly printed newsletter.
 
A few years ago, in partnership with our media partner Poughkeepsie Journal, the Chamber launched the Hudson Valley Business Scene each week as part of the Journal’s Monday edition. Now, in an effort to have continuity of branding and to reflect how our publications have become the primary source of business news within the Hudson Valley, we have rebranded our monthly member newsletter which has been known as The Bottom Line for close to 40 years.
 
We want to make it clear to anyone who picks up a copy of our publication that it is the premier business news source for the Hudson Valley. This will not only help make our branding consistent, but will also help our members by giving them additional exposure. It should be clear to readers throughout the region that much of the content of the Hudson Valley Business Scene is relevant to the general public as well as our members – such as Shop The Hudson Valley deals which are found inside this edition, ribbon cutting celebrations for new and expanding businesses and organizations, and programming from The Chamber Foundation and Workforce Development Center. Our members and sponsors will continue to receive significant exposure through these channels, and we will look to further increase the reach of the Hudson Valley Business Scene.
 
Our partnership with the Poughkeepsie Journal helps bring Chamber content to the masses, both in our advocacy work and giving our members additional exposure to the public. We are always looking for ways to improve and expand, and this rebranding is exactly that.
 
The Chamber’s professional staff works hard to produce this newsletter each month, and we hope you continue to read the Hudson Valley Business Scene to stay updated on events, programming, member news, community partnerships, and much more.
