  • Chamber welcomes new Workforce Program Manager

The Chamber is pleased to welcome Anne De Muro as Workforce Program Manager to its dynamic full-time staff.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, De Muro moved to Poughkeepsie in 1983.  She has a Bachelor of Arts in Child Study & Special Education and a Master of Education in Adult Education & Training. Her previous experience as a director for programs serving seniors within the community is extensive, having managed and opened several social day programs in Dutchess and Ulster counties. Her work included community outreach, regulatory compliance, case management, care coordinator, and caregiver support.

In her new role, De Muro will oversee the operations and management of the Chamber’s workforce development programs, including the Dutchess County Youth One Stop, Workforce Connections, and Career Action Center at Poughkeepsie High School. She will also be responsible for program outreach and marketing with the goal of expanding existing programs and developing new services for underserved youth, adults, and families in our community.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Anne to the team. Her talent will be an invaluable addition to our ongoing efforts to serve our local business community,” said the Chamber’s President & CEO Frank Castella, Jr.
